This digitalSTROM application is used to trigger automatic responses to various system events.
For example, the lights in room B can automatically be turned on when the switch in room A has been pressed. Or the lights in every room on the first floor of a house can be turned off via a long press of the switch in the stairway (similar to a Deep Off press of a leaving home switch)
In addition, the App-Buttons can programmed to carry out various actions in response to events, such as to a quadruple-click, to power consumption levels exceeding certain thresholds or to on/off events of other devices in the system. App-Buttons are Joker buttons, whose color group can assigned or evaluated directly from a Server-App like a scene responder. Power consumption notifications for devices like the inline power adapter can be configured in the Configurator under Hardware / Power Consumption Notifications. The notification will be sent when connected loads are switched on or off. This allows one, for example, to automatically close the blinds when the TV is switched on.
Thus processes can be automated in a simple manner.
Automatic responders can be created, edited or deleted. In the list view one can see the save settings (Name, Trigger, Action and Delay). If the responder is no longer needed, it can be temporarily disabled or deleted. The function Test Responder will immediately call the responder for test purposes.
First give your responder a name.
In the tab, Trigger, define an action that will trigger the responder. The trigger can be various system events, such as:
A trigger can also consist of multiple different presets or clicks, for example preset 1, 2, 3, 4 and another action can all be a trigger for the same response. One can select multiple presets or clicks simultaneously by Ctrl-clicking the items in the list.
Optionally one can set the delay parameter in order to execute a response after a particular amount of time has passed since the trigger event.
Each response can carry out any number of actions with the following options:
Choose the desired action and, if necessary, the desired room, the color and the preset. By double-clicking the selection in the last column or clicking "Show all actions", one can view the list of all actions. The "New Action" button opens an empty dialog and with a double-click of an action in the list or through a Edit Action one can edit the selected action settings. Use the arrow keys left and right to switch easily between the pre-defined actions. The trash can icon can be used to delete the requirement for a single action. Click "Save" to save the settings and activate the responder.
Click "Save" to save the settings and activate the responder.
A possible use One possible application is a central switch for all the shutters or blinds. One can use a 2-way switch that is either separate into a room or a room without shutters (eg front hallway).
Now create a new responder and define in this area (eg front hallway) to shade the preset Closed to as a trigger. Under Actions select All Rooms and for shades the preset, Closed. Alternatively, you can select individual rooms, for example if one only wants to control rooms on the first floor. After saving the settings, one can use the Close button to close shutters in all rooms.
One can use the same definition for the Open preset and for Stop. Stop is needed when it's necessary to stop the movement centrally.
