This digitalSTROM app allows integrating Philips 'hue' LED lights to be integrated into your digitalSTROM installation
To control the hue lights, the digitalSTROM app needs to connect to the hue bridge (little white, round device with blue indicator lights) via the local network.
Unfortunately, it is not possible yet for the app to discopver the hue bridge in your network automatically. So you need to determine the IP address of the bridge first. Possible ways to do that:
Once you have the IP address of the bridge:
After the first start the hue lights are assigned to the entire appartment (all rooms). Each light can be assigned individually to a room, and optionally also to one or several areas within that room.
For each hue light four scenes can be saved. After the first start the following default scenes are assigend:
To reprogram a scene, set the desired color using the Philips hue app (on the iPhone), and then press the "Save current hue light state to scene" button in the corresponding light's settings dialog of the digitalSTROM-app.
Using the "Apply to hue Light" button, you can recall the currently saved scene for a single lamp to verify it
Once configured, the hue lights respond to scene calls like other digitalSTROM lamps, and can be controlled via room and area buttons.
