This digitalSTROM application allows you to observe activities in the digitalSTROM system and offers the possibility to send out messages during prolonged times of inactivity. Alternatively, the application can be configured to warn the user before an e-mail is sent out by means of an automatic digitalSTROM action.
In this view all existing observations with their trigger, defined message or activities, as well as their conditions, will be listed. In addition to the option of setting up and editing observations, you can also activate and deactivate them one by one without deleting the observation completely from the system. Furthermore, the event-checker can be switched on or off from one central location.
First enter a name for your message. Define the activity that should be observed in the 'trigger' tab. This may include push button activities (i.e. the triggering of digitalSTROM presets in a room via wall push buttons), motion detector messages or energy events of inline adapters, as for example used for electric kettles.
The desired message is defined in the ‘Message’ tab.
Enter
the addressee's e-mail into the receiver field. Enter a text in the
subject line that helps you to find and sort messages in your mailbox.
You may enter additional text in the body field.
The e-mail is
a simple text message, therefore formatting is not possible.
In addition or instead of sending an e-mail message, you can define a digitalSTROM action in the third tab which will be executed automatically. This action does not influence other observations as it is not understood as a push button click. The function can be used as a reminder or warning before sending out an e-mail message.
Observations might be restricted by conditions. For example, an observation of an activity might only be made during absence periods. The following conditions can be defined:
Observations will be made only if all defined conditions are met. Conditions are optional. However, the time frame starts all over again as soon as all conditions are fully met. I.e. if an observation during daylight, with a time frame of 1 hour, starts at 6 a.m., the message will only be sent if there is one full hour of inactivity from 6 a.m. onwards.
Die The observation settings will be saved and activated by ‚'Save'‘.
